Charting the sky…

Sign in to see your own constellation: the ideas you command, crew on and save.
Pinch or Ctrl/⌘ + scroll to zoom, drag to pan (two fingers on a phone), drag a star to move it; in full screen a plain scroll zooms and one finger pans. Point at a star to light up the ideas it's tied to; click it for a summary and the list of those ideas, then Open Command Center (or double-click the star) to go there. Topic names work the same way: point at one to light up its ideas, click it to list them. A line joins two ideas that read alike, that need each other (one is looking for what the other does), that share crew, or that a commander linked: dashed when the map found it, solid once a commander confirmed it. It is stronger the rarer the people and hashtags they share and when their commanders are near each other, and one person posting both ideas never makes one. On a very large board the whole-sky view shows soft bands between topics whose ideas are tied instead of the lines themselves, which come back as you zoom in. With a keyboard, click or tab onto the map, then use the arrow keys to move between stars and Enter to open the one selected; the list view has the same ideas as a list. Private replies, hidden replies, saved ideas and private ideas never shape what anyone else sees here: a private idea appears only to the people on it, and has no ties.
